Admission Requirements

South Florida Barber Schools admits all students 16 years and older that are interested in enrolling in any of our Barbering Programs who are high School graduates or holders of a high school graduation equivalence certificate, or GED.
Students under 18 years of age require parental or guardian approval to enroll.

South Florida Barber Schools, Inc. has many financial aid options. Financial assistance may be through loans, scholarships, grants, and other outside sources. Our advisors can discuss financial assistance on an individual basis.

      My son was skateboarding in downtown Homestead after his optometrist appointment and was approached by a couple of guys from the South Dade Barber School and asked if he wanted a haircut. We accepted the offers and went inside a very nicely done shop that also has tables for the students. We both got great cuts by friendly people who are eager and excited about their paths. Just sign a waiver and they do it for free. I will definitely drop in again when I’m in the area and get a fresh look!

      Got my haircut done by Gabriel for absolutely free, haircut was a 10/10, might even say they cut better than any other barbershop because they’re so close to detail.
